I am a research engineer with over a decade of experience, currently specializing in cutting-edge generative image and video models, such as Imagen 3 and Veo at DeepMind. Previously, I led neural network design efforts at Google Brain, including serving as the Tech Lead of Flax, the most widely-used JAX neural network library globally. I’ve also been closely involved in the early development of large language models like T5X and I authored the CFQ dataset for measuring compositional generalization in language.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across diverse areas of AI, collaborating with researchers and developers from various backgrounds and cultures. I thrive in dynamic environments, wearing multiple hats, and I’m passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive work culture where everyone feels empowered.
